With multi-cultural audiences at every show, this bi-lingual band continues to play to capacity crowds at self promoted venues, as well as festivals & clubs while supporting national acts. Vudu Café has been compared to such Chicano greats as Santana, Los Lonely Boys, and Los Lobos. “Chicano Life” the new album by Vudu Café celebrates the true spirit of Chicano rock. With the lusty soulful vocals on “All I need is you” to the hook laden “ I can feel the rain.” Vudu Café brings back the nostalgic feel of early Chicano rock with Entregalo and Someday. Vudu Cafe also showcases their bi-lingual roots with the energetic sounds of “Maria” and “Que Celoso.” The boys pay homage to one of the great Chicano songs of the early seventies with their rendition of “Suavecito.” Vudu Café is currently promoting “Chicano Life” which was Produced by Jesse Flores, Co-Produced with Andy Bradley (Sugar Hill Studios) and Michael Ramos (Los Lonely Boys, John Mellancamp, The Bodeans, The Rembrandts).
